I think that lots of checks are going to be needed before I would leave my children for long period with someone I did not know and trust. I would probably suggest a meet with me present, and leave the prospective sitter with the children in another room for a while. Using a spy camera of some sort so I could watch how things were going and how they were interacting. If all pens out, then could be worth a go.

A babysitter should have lot of energy and should understand children. I agree that it is a good idea to find out if the babysitting service we are going to choose is reliable and that the babysitter has the necessary skills required to take care of children.

Trust is a big issue with most parents when choosing a baby sitting. I think this is why most people tend to go with someone they know or have been recommended to by a friend.

It’s a good idea to speak to other busy couples with children and find out if they are using any Babysitting Services. Looking on internet can save us time however we will get the right feedback when we talk to other parents.

Feedback I feel can come from any where I would never ever leave my son with a stranger no matter how many reviews they have had on the internet, There are so many sickos out there and you have to be so carefull I would always suggest using a very reputable company to look after your child not an individual who babysits for a living !
