I think that lots of checks are going to be needed before I would leave my children for long period with someone I did not know and trust. I would probably suggest a meet with me present, and leave the prospective sitter with the children in another room for a while. Using a spy camera of some sort so I could watch how things were going and how they were interacting. If all pens out, then could be worth a go.

Show them you find delight in their child and that even in difficult times you love them. Have little stories, not just problems to share every day. Parents, especially working parents who are away from their children all day love to hear about their child’s daily activities.

t takes nine months for a baby to develop in the womb, yet why do all of us expect a young and untrained caregiver to be fully oriented and totally productive in our homes in a week or two? If you have hired a mother’s helper who has just left home for the first time, she will be adjusting both to her new job and to her new life in a new place, just as you are adjusting to having a new person in your home.
Be fair, be patient and be prepared to repeat instructions.

Although having a nanny cam in your house is legal in all states, there are some states that prohibit the recording of sound. Make sure that your state is not one of these. The states are California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington. If your state does not allow the recording of sound, then that limits the cameras that you can use.

Interesting guide, it has a lot of good suggestions. Many people do not realize that they are generally in control of the amount of money a professional babysitter will get. For example, if you know you want a professional babysitter, you can go with the minimal requirements that you feel would be sufficient for the baby. Thanks for the share.
